The Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, on Wednesday announced that over 5,000 prayer warriors would attend its 2017 National Prayer Convocation slated to hold at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo.

The
church, in a statement issued in Abuja by Bishop Humphrey Olumakaiye,
the Chairman, Ibadan Province Prayer Convocation, said the event would
hold between March 6 and 10.
The
statement said the convocation, with the theme, “Bring Back the Ark of
God”, would be attended by prayer warriors drawn from different parts of
the country.
“This
Holy Ghost inspired Prayer Conference will gather together over 5,000
prayer warriors from different parts of the Country who will lift our
Nation and our Church to God in prayers.
“We
therefore, invite everyone who also needs prayer in one way or the
other to join the chariot as we travail and prevail in the place of
prayers,” the statement said.
It
said the official opening ceremony of the five days prayer convocation
would be performed by Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh, the Primate of the Church
of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, on March 7.
The
statement said free accommodation would be provided at the venue,
adding that Most Rev Dr. Segun Okubadejo, the Archbishop of Ibadan
Province, would be on ground to welcome participants.
